The Village of Dervaig lies at the head of an estuary in the north-west of Mull. It is just 7.5 miles from the hustle and bustle of Tobermory and 5 miles from the white sands of Calgary. It is an ideal centre for the birdwatcher and walker.

White-tailed sea eagles nest a few miles away. The determined birdwatcher may also see hen harriers, golden eagles, red-throated divers, eiders, and many other seabirds, waders and songbirds.

Arnabost is a self-catering cottage in the centre of Dervaig within 3 or 4 minutes walk from the 400 year old pub, which has a small restaurant, and next to the post office and general store (with cash machine).

Arnabost sleeps 4 adults. The cottage was completely refurbished in 2006/07. There is off road parking for two cars.
